We are currently seeking a Wealth Management Portfolio Manager to join our team.  This position is located in Las Vegas, NV and reports up to the Director of Investment Management. The Portfolio Manager (PM) role is 30-40% client facing and works closely with other Wealth Management team members, especially wealth advisors, to solicit new business and service existing investment clients. The PM is also expected to contribute to investment decision making and investment communications. Expected to be proactive and prompt with all client inquires. 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support client investment portfolios for high-net worth individual and institutional clients. 
  • Ensure client portfolios are aligned with investment models and investment committee guidance.
  • Explain and differentiate between various investment strategies and opportunities.
  • Actively engage in new business and client retention activities including presentations to prospects and existing clients.
  • Clearly articulate purpose of investment decisions and asset allocation.
  • Keep abreast of tax consequences of investment decisions and strategies.
  • Conduct account reviews and maintains fiduciary and compliance training and education.
  • Experienced in mutual funds, ETFs, separately managed accounts, and private capital.
  • Work effectively as part of a team in an investment advice driven business model.
  • Responsible for analyzing, proposing, and documenting portfolio trades in a team environment.
  • Communicate with clients about their accounts, market conditions and economic and market trends.
  • Effectively implements investment decisions and trades and rebalances client accounts according to change in asset allocation model or individual client needs and objectives.
  • Works in conjunction with relationship managers and operations department to execute daily investment decisions in accordance with investment policy and client investment objectives.
  • Responsible for completing investment projects as assigned, evaluating market trends, and analyzing securities.
  • Works closely with client relationship managers and other wealth management team members.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements:

  • Requires a Bachelors Degree  
  • 10+ years of directly related experience.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication and problem-solving skills required.
  • CFA preferred
  • Frequently contributes to the development of new theories and methods.
  • Employs expert knowledge as a generalist or specialist of capital markets and investment management

Pay range (depending on experience): $150,000 - $185,000
