Zions Bancorporation is currently looking for a Quality Control Analyst to come and join our team. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Responsible for the review of completed work, quality control reviews, investigation and reporting of processes, procedures and programs.
  • Performs audits for risk controls and regulatory quality control to ensure compliance.
  • Perform research to support quality review findings, exceptions and resolve issues.
  • Validates standards, measures performance and determines compliance with, which includes monitoring trending, reporting and ensures that department/division guidelines are being met.
  • Identifies and assesses operational risk and impact, makes recommendations for effective policies and controls to manage risk within various operational and corporate functions.
  • Identifies red flags, collects, aggregates and analyzes data as a result of quality reviews to support the completion of quality analysis reports to be used in the identification of recommendations for continuous quality improvement activities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Requires a high school degree or equilivant and 6+ years experience with specific departmental/area processes, procedures, programs, compliance or other directly related experience. Quality review/audit experience preferred. A combination of education and experience may meet requirements. A Bachelor's degree highly preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of departmental/area policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Strong audit, research, analysis, decision making and problem resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Must be a self starter.
  • Excellent client relations and communications skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong ability to handle and accomplish multiple tasks and resolve competing priorities effectively.
  • Ability to articulate sensitive and challenging positions on issues involving multiple parties.
  • An ability to influence multiple parties based on sound logical reasoning and fact-based analysis is critical to this job function.
  • Ability to adapt to change and shifting business priorities.
  • Ability to lead and train lower level staff.
  • Strong proficiency in PC and MS Office skills, Power Point.
