Do you love challenges, and enjoy finding innovative ways to solve problems?  Zions Bancorporation is currently seeking an experienced IT Resilience Coordinator to engage with leaders across our technology organization to establish a resilient technology ecosystem. This will work with a team of experienced Disaster Recovery and IT Resilience technologists, leading the organization through regular demonstrations of resilience through various test practices. This role provides the unique opportunity to work across technology domains to define, build, and test resilient solutions. Responsibilities:

  • Partner with IT owners to establish and repeatedly test technology resilience.
  • Develop and implement medium- and long-term recovery policies and strategies.
  • Provide leadership and oversight monitoring of IT resilience practices, including recovery testing activities as part of a broader Business Continuity plan.
  • Ensure the company is prepared to recover key IT systems in the event of a disaster.
  • Governance and oversight for IT Resilience and Disaster Recovery capabilities.
  • Build and improve recovery and resilience processes through knowledge and incorporating best practices from internal and external sources.
  • Oversee the execution of disaster recovery plan(s) when IT and/or major business operations disruptions occur.

 

Qualifications:

  • Requires a Bachelor's in Information Technology, Business, Information Management, or related field.
  • 8+ years’ experience in disaster recovery, business resumption planning and analysis, project management or other directly related experience. Disaster Recovery experience and/or extensive knowledge of the banking industry a plus.
  • Knowledge of IT disaster recovery, planning, analysis, concepts, methodology and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to respond in a stressful environment created during emergency situations.
  • Excellent attention to detail with focus on accurate and timely results.
  • Ability to identify and implement back up strategies.
  • Must have working knowledge of technologies, including networks, platforms and software applications. 

 

Pay Range: $100,000-$140,000
