NBAZ is looking for a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join Arizona’s #1 Community Bank. We are seeking qualified candidates for our Biltmore Corporate Office in Phoenix.
Essential Functions:
- Assist Property Manager and Facilities Manager as needed including building inspections, procuring bids, managing vendors, building operations, and projects.
- Completing assigned work orders which include preventative and corrective measures.
- Maintain building systems including interior/exterior lighting, HVAC, thermostats, life safety and building security.
- Meet with contractors as necessary, monitor work of contractors and all subcontracted work.
- Meet regularly with priority vendors like Landscaping and Janitorial. Check contract janitorial and landscape work – notify supervisor of any problems.
- Monitor utility usage and be responsible for building energy management and preventive maintenance.
- Check chemical treatment systems for Boilers and Chillers.
- Repair mechanical equipment as directed.
- Repair and install new locks and prepare all necessary keys.
- Assist in roof maintenance repair work as needed.
- Maintain and update inventory lists of equipment and assets assigned to building/property/department.
- Miscellaneous trouble shooting and problem solving.
- Other assigned duties as necessary.
Qualifications:
Requires a High School degree or equivalent, and 5+ years of maintenance work, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, or other directly related experience.
Hours: Monday – Friday: 8:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M., 40 hrs./wk.
- Must have a current driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Working knowledge of operation for HVAC and electrical. Knowledge of Plumbing, carpentry and general maintenance.
- Must have strong organizational skills, a high level of accuracy, and the ability to perform well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Must have excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- The ability to prioritize a heavy volume of small unrelated requests from a variety of sources.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish languages, is preferred.
