Zions Bancorporation is seeking a Business Systems Analyst in Salt Lake City to join our Paper and Electronic Payments team to help Zions transform its banking and make a real impact in our industry. Customers want to interact with us differently and have very demanding expectations of their bank. The successful candidate for this position will be responsible for supporting our new teller capture applications that create simple and delightful experiences for our customers.  


Responsibilities:
  • Support Microsoft Servers
  • Responsible for various system functions, including: Incident, change, system and project management.
  • Troubleshoot websites, applications, and user access issues.
  • Document incident items and escalates as necessary.
  • Coordinate issue resolution and validation of service restored.
  • Assist in troubleshooting servers, transmissions, and firewall access issues.
  • Perform application troubleshooting and makes recommendations for improvements and changes.
  • Work with vendors as needed to resolve issues.
  • Facilitate new or enhanced change management requests and post change validations.
  • Schedule change controls.
  • Configure installed software on all environments, perform fine tuning and application documentation.
  • Assist with Disaster recovery testing.
  • Responsible for application and infrastructure monitoring, coordinates with enterprise management and business unit on assigning and updating alerts.
  • Coordinate report reprints and monitors job processing.
  • May perform project management functions as either a project manager or team member.
  • 24 X 7 On Call responsibilities for various applications.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of business systems and applications, incident and change management, project and systems management
  • Ability to work with vendors.
  • 2+ years’ experience in business analysis, processes, procedures, project management, multiple technologies, frameworks, etc. or other directly related experience
  • Experience with VSoft teller application preferred
  • Working knowledge of payment processing and procedures
  • Requires solid analytical, organizational, trouble shooting and problem solution skills
  • Ability to elicit, gather and analyze data
  • Requires a Bachelor's in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration or other related field
  • Solid presentation and technical and non-technical communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to function in a consultative role
  • Requires solid interpersonal skills with the ability to work with both management and staff employees
  • Must be able to meet deadlines
  • Working knowledge of various software programs, including word processing, spreadsheets, Unix, SQL, etc.
  • MCSC certifications preferred
A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.
