Auditor - Capital Markets - SLC - Hybrid Schedule

The Auditor is part of the Financial Management audit team with audit coverage over the Accounting, Investment, Human Resources, and Capital Markets functions of the Bank.  The ideal candidate would have previous experience in Capital Markets or Brokerage.

The ideal candidate will bring energy and communication skills to a dynamic role within the team, will be able to adequately document testing and audit findings, and will take ownership of their assignments.  

Roles and responsibilities include the following:

• Plan and execute tests of management’s key controls.
• Develop risk-based audit strategies and execute tests to validate control effectiveness and risk mitigation.  
• Consults on risk mitigation strategies and control solutions.
• Develop subject matter expertise over assigned audit areas.   
• Review and validate remediation plans and escalate emerging concerns.
• Act as the Lead-Auditor on audits and reviews.
• Document audit testing, results, and conclusions.
• Develop data analysis and continuous auditing strategies.
• Effectively present conclusions to senior management with the risk perspective of the Audit Committee.   

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, business, mathematics, finance, or accounting.
• Demonstrates effectiveness in working as team member and engaging the diverse strengths of colleagues.

• Manages multiple priorities and competing demands and addresses obstacles preventing the work from moving forward.

• Ability to travel if necessary.

Preferred Requirements

• Advanced Degree in accounting, business, or related field
• Previous experience in Capital Markets or Brokerage a plus.
• 2-4 years of audit experience preferably in the financial industry.
• Data analysis and ACL experience
• Certification (CPA, CFA, CIA).
