We have an opportunity for an experienced Program Governance Analyst to join our Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management department based in Salt Lake City. The primary business outcome of this area providing the assurances needed to support the enterprise strategic objectives and facilitate the execution of those initiatives. Key Responsibilities of the Program Governance Analyst:
Analyze, assess, track, document and report on Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management progress, processes, risks and controls.
Analyze, monitor, evaluate and maintain systems to assess the risk of new proposals or solutions.
Define delivery standards / procedures and then prepare and provide training to Portfolios, ARTs, and Teams.
Write and edit reports, memos and other documents to communicate information regarding Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management delivery to stakeholders such as executives, applicable committees, portfolio managers, system owners, business unit managers and others.
Enable the Portfolios, ARTs and Team by supporting them in ServiceNow, Azure DevOps (ADO), Oracle, SharePoint, etc.
Complete data quality and material reviews of documents such as the business case, financial form, committee materials, post project reviews, etc.
Map processes and identify bottlenecks or areas for optimization and then execute on improving those processes.
Support initiative prioritization, capacity management, and project initiation activities.
Qualifications
5+ yrs experience in risk management, process design / optimization, information technology, other related technical design / writing.
Bachelor’s degree in technology, mathematics, business administration / management, communications, or a related field.
Prior project management or program governance experience preferred.
Employs advanced knowledge as a generalist or specialist of risk analysis, industry project management best practices and regulatory guidance, data quality reviews and measurements, and project risk and issue management.
Familiarity with ServiceNow, ADO, Oracle, Power Automate, Power BI, and/or SharePoint Designer preferred.
Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to discuss process / system needs and issues with both technical and non-technical internal and external resources.
Ability to develop strong relationships throughout the business and be seen as a business partner; comfortable working with all levels within an organization.
Ability to work independently; must be a self-starter.
Advanced working knowledge of various bank/government regulations and requirements
Ideal Certifications
Project Management Professional (PMP), Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Practitioner, SAFe Agilist, SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager, and/or SAFe Lean Portfolio Management
A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.

This position is fully in office (5 days a week) at the Zions Technology Center - 7860 South Bingham Junction Blvd, Midvale, UT 84047
