We are currently seeking an experienced Technology Service Owner to join our Paper and Electronic Payments Team. This Technology Service Owner will be responsible for supporting our Wires applications that create simple and delightful experiences for our customers.  

 

The Engineering and Core Services organization is at the heart of innovation at Zions Bancorporation. We continually modernize on many of Zions’ key banking applications and its banking core. In addition to application development, we manage the key platforms, services, and processes which enable modernized engineering and IT operations and delivery through DevOps and lean principles. The Technology Service Owner will:

  • Configure installed software on all environments and perform configuration, tuning and prepare and update application documentation.
  • Support various system functions including incident, change, system, and project management.
  • Coordinate issue resolution and validation of service restored.
  • Assist in troubleshooting applications, servers, transmissions, and firewall access issues.
  • Work with vendors as needed to resolve issues.
  • Provide application and infrastructure monitoring and coordinate with enterprise management and business unit on assigning and updating alerts.
  • 24 X 7 on-call responsibilities for various applications.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • Experience in system administration of UNIX/Linux/RHEL and Windows operating systems.
  • Working knowledge of business systems and applications, incident and change management, project and systems management.
  • Working knowledge of department specific processes and procedures.
  • Requires solid organizational, trouble shooting, and problem solution skills.
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with senior business and technical management, vendors, and team members.
  • Requires a Bachelor's in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field and 4+ years’ experience in business systems analysis, processes, procedures, project management, multiple technologies, frameworks, or other directly related experience.  A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.
  • Knowledge or familiarity with the following areas and systems will be a plus: Wire Transfers with ACI MTS and UPF, SWIFT, RTP with FIS OPF and ACH with FISERV PEP+.

 

Location: 

 

This position has a hybrid work from home schedule with a minimum of three days per week in the office at the Zions Technology Center in Midvale, UT.

 

The Zions Technology Center is a 400,000-square-foot technology campus in Midvale, Utah. Located on the former Sharon Steel Mill superfund site, the sustainably built campus will be the company’s primary technology and operations center.  This modern and environmentally friendly technology center will enable Zions to continue to compete for the best technology talent in the state while providing team members with an exceptional work environment with features such as:
