We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst / Technology Service Analyst to join our team. As a Business Analyst, you will be critical to the success of our commercial lending team in supporting our lending applications.
In this role you would translate business needs into technical requirements, working closely with our business partners, project management, and stakeholders. The successful candidate will want to be part of a motivated and driven team and work with respected leaders. This role also may involve incident and change management, troubleshooting, system monitoring, and coordination with internal teams and external vendors to ensure optimal system performance and service continuity.
The ideal candidate will have the skills and experience necessary to:
- Develop user documentation, writing user stories, and departmental policies and procedures that impact the use of application systems.
- Perform and participate in the analysis, design and implementation of business processes and procedures following appropriate standards.
- Perform application troubleshooting and the coordination of incident resolution. Work with end users or vendors for problem resolution and make recommendations for improvements.
- Be responsible for facilitating new or enhanced change management requests and post change validations. Conduct user acceptance testing or test planning sessions.
- Act as a liaison to various departments, management, and staff to resolve problems and improve processes and procedures.
- Participate in projects as a Product Owner or team member.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 6+ years’ experience in Business/Systems Analysis or Quality Assurance, project management, or other directly related experience.
- Proven experience in eliciting requirements and testing.
- Solid analytical, organizational, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Solid presentation, technical and non-technical communication skills, both verbal and written.
- In depth banking and commercial lending experience is a plus.
- Experience with Agile project methodology is preferred.
- Experience testing with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) tools, such as Gherkin and Cucumber, and associated methodologies is a plus.
- Solid interpersonal skills with the ability to work with both management and staff employees.
- Requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, business, finance, or a related field. A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.
