Retail Initiatives empowers front-line bankers by delivering innovative tools, training programs, and technology solutions that enhance banker knowledge, productivity, and overall workplace experience. We manage and evolve several enterprise-critical platforms and programs, including:
- Champions Programs – Becoming a Champion, Champions, and Elite Champions; end-to-end ownership of curriculum, training tools, and experience enhancements.
- Banker Insights Dashboard – Providing real-time customer analytics and actionable insights to bankers.
- Appointment Scheduler – Streamlining banker scheduling and customer appointments.
- Glia Sales Enablement – Supporting digital sales and customer engagement across channels.
- Branch iPads – Empowering bankers with customer-facing tools, and on-the-spot service capabilities.
- Additional strategic initiatives supporting banker performance and elevating the retail banking experience.
The Product Manager serves as a senior member of the Retail Initiatives team, responsible for managing the strategy, roadmap, execution, and performance of one or more high-impact products that support our front-line bankers. This role drives product innovation, cross-functional alignment, and the successful delivery of products that enhance banker capability, efficiency, and engagement.
- Manages all aspects of assigned products to maximize adoption, performance, and profitability.
- Conducts product research, competitive analysis, and profitability assessments.
- Recommends product features, enhancements, design elements, and pricing strategies.
- Partners with cross-functional teams to bring products to market.
- Develops and executes communication plans, launch strategies, and ongoing marketing campaigns.
- Analyzes product performance and user feedback to identify enhancement opportunities.
- Owns the full lifecycle and P&L of assigned products.
- May supervise or mentor junior associates.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead product strategy, roadmap planning, and lifecycle management.
- Conduct research to understand banker needs and identify opportunities for innovation.
- Deliver product requirements, business cases, and recommendations to leadership.
- Partner with UX, Technology, and Data teams for product development and enhancement.
- Manage cross-functional workstreams for product launches and upgrades.
- Create training, readiness, and communication materials with relevant partners.
- Monitor performance metrics, adoption rates, and feedback.
- Maintain compliance documentation and governance artifacts.
Build strong relationships with retail leaders and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in product management or related roles.
- Extensive knowledge of product management methodologies and best practices.
- Strong understanding of technologies supporting retail banking tools.
- Knowledge of internal processes for product development and approval.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Solid stakeholder and customer relationship management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
