We are the Public Website team, and we develop and maintain the public facing websites for Zions. We are looking for a Frontend (or Full Stack) Software Engineer. You’ll learn, understand and then make contributions for our projects under the guidance of senior engineers.
Things you'll do:
- Develop web applications utilizing modern JavaScript frameworks and Java for Zions websites with a focus on frontend development.
- Assist in designing and implementing features and functionalities.
- Conduct website testing with QA engineers.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving website problems.
- Help in creating and maintaining software documentation.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
- Software Development Background (preferably in JavaScript, html, CSS, jQuery and Java).
- Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A good team player with integrity, initiative and accountability.
- Basic understanding of distributed systems, data structures, design principles, and algorithms.
- Basic understanding of Adobe Experience Manager or similar content management systems is a plus.
