We are seeking aCybersecurity Engineer – Business Intelligencewith expertise indata orchestrationandbusiness intelligenceto join our team supporting the Enterprise Information Security (EIS) department. In this role, you will design and maintain scalable data pipelines using Databricks, integrate diverse data sources, and deliver impactful business intelligence. Your work will directly support data-driven decision-making and provide critical insights into cybersecurity risk and performance. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Design, develop, and maintain robustdata pipelines in Databricks platformto ingest, transform, and store data from multiple sources into curated data marts. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scope, and implement scalable data solutions aligned with business needs. 

  • Develop and optimizePower BI dashboardsto visualize key cybersecurity metrics and performance indicators with clarity and precision. 

  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and security across all stages of the data lifecycle. 

  • Document data flows, transformation logic, and business processes to support transparency and maintainability. 

  • Continuously evaluate and improve data engineering and reporting processes for performance and efficiency. 

Requirements: 

  • 4+ years of experience in a Data Engineer, BI Developer, or similar role.  

  • Proven experience building data pipelines using Databricks

  • Strong proficiency inSQL,Python, and working withREST APIs

  • Advanced knowledge ofPower BI, including DAX, data modeling, and report optimization. 

  • Experience working inAgile/Scrumenvironments with tools like Azure Boards. 

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. A combination of education and experience may meet requirements. 

  • Relevant certifications such as: 

  • Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate/Professional 

  • Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate (Power BI) 

Location: 

This position offers a hybrid work schedule with a minimum of three days per week onsite at theZions Technology Center in Midvale, UT

The Zions Technology Center is a 400,000-square-foot technology campus in Midvale, Utah. Located on the former Sharon Steel Mill superfund site, the sustainably built campus is the company’s primary technology and operations center.
