The scope and impact of your work:

The Cybersecurity Awareness and Engagement Communications Coordinator plays a key role in strengthening and maintaining the relationships between EIS and our partners. This person will drive cybersecurity awareness through various communication channels. The ideal candidate will bring with them a proven track record of assisting organizations in creating, deploying, and measuring the success of diverse communications media. Strong verbal and written communication skills and a drive for excellence.

This role requires a dynamic personality that can work successfully in a diverse environment. The successful CAE Communications Specialist will be responsible for enhancing relationships, creating training materials, and writing communications to increasing awareness of cybersecurity principles and practices. They’ll:

 

 

  1. Managing internal phishing program and platform
  2. Develop and create training materials to promote awareness of cybersecurity standards, threats, and safe practices.
  3. Analyze communications to determine the most effective way to present, distribute, and reinforce message and branding.
  4. Lead the design and maintenance of the Cybersecurity Awareness SharePoint site.
  5. Create presentations for business partners, management, staff, and executive level meetings.
  6. Ensure the highest level of accuracy and clarity in all communications including editing and adherence to compliance and AP standards.
  7. Collaborate with communications teams across the enterprise on the production of cyber awareness materials and communications
  8. Work with leadership to write, edit, and distribute internal communications impacting employees enterprise-wide. 

 

Your experiences and skills:

  1. Education, Training, and Work Experiences
  • The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in English, communications, marketing, business, information security, or a related field. 
  • 2 - 4+ years’ experience in marketing, communications or other directly related experience. A combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.
  • Experience in internal and/or external communications, brand and image using various media channels.
  • Experience in the technology industry and/or the finance industry is a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel) and SharePoint.
  1. Domain and Industry Expertise
  • Solid understanding and working knowledge of the Associated Press (AP) stylebook.
  • Knowledge of marketing and communications principles and practices, communications campaigns, and multi-media projects.
  • Broad understanding of web sites and web site content.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices is a plus.
  1. Communication and Collaboration
  • Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to gather relevant data and information, actively listen, dialogue freely, verbalize ideas effectively.
  • Ability to effectively and consistently write, brand, and edit communications through multiple channels.
  • Demonstrated experience bringing ideas from concept to execution, and building productive, collaborative relationships.
  • Confident presentation and facilitation skills.
  • High level of professionalism, self-motivation, and a strong sense of urgency.
  • Strong customer-focus, with the ability to manage expectations appropriately, and provide a superior user experience.
  • Excellent organization, problem resolution, and teamwork skills.
  • Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change.

 

Pay Range: $60,000 – 80,000
