Your experience and skills:
- Advanced development experience with scripting languages such as Python and JavaScript
- Knowledge of web-services such as API and REST
- Experience with development in a SOAR platform
- Experience with GIT or other version control systems
- 4+ years of progressive technical experience in a Computer Science and/or a Cybersecurity domain
- A Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or a related technical field is a plus, a combination of education and experience may meet qualifications
- Hands-on technical experience with one or more commercial SIEM products such as Splunk Enterprise Security, IBM QRadar, LogRhythm, ArcSight, NetWitness, etc., which should include familiarity with defining and writing alert conditions/use cases in addition to daily use for investigating incidents
- Very strong interpersonal and written communication skills, including the ability to produce technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and incident response playbooks
- Working knowledge of common attack vectors, different classes of attacks (e.g., passive, active, insider, close-in, distributed, etc.) and general attack stages (e.g., foot printing and scanning, enumeration, gaining access, escalation or privileges, maintaining access, network exploitation, covering tracks, etc.)
- Knowledge of system administration concepts for UNIX/Linux and Windows operating systems
- Experience with IT Automation systems such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Jenkins, etc. is a plus
- Development experience in ServiceNow is a plus
- Experience with threat hunting methods and approaches is a plus
- Technical certifications such as GCIH, GNFA, CISSP are a plus
This position can be located in Salt Lake City, Utah or 100% remote within the United States
Pay Range: $70,000 – 105,000
