We are currently hiring for a Corporate Trust Manager to join our Fee Income team, located in downtown Salt Lake City, UT or Boise, ID.
The Corporate Trust Manager oversees the activities of trust administrators and support staff, providing expertise in the negotiation and management of complex bond issues and escrows. This leader ensures compliance and consistency with the needs of issuers, the company, and bondholders, while maintaining quality service and efficient operations for all internal and external customers. The role is responsible for hiring, training, and conducting performance reviews, ensuring staff are well-trained and meet performance standards. The Corporate Trust Manager maintains excellent working relationships with affiliates, staff, and clients, and manages risk within the area of responsibility. This position is vital to organizing workflow, supporting business objectives, and driving operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Manage the activities of trust administrators and support staff
Negotiate and provide expertise with complex bond issues and escrows
Ensure compliance and consistency with the needs of issuers, the company, and bondholders
Oversee quality service and efficient operations support for all customers
Maintain and enforce applicable policies, procedures, and systems
Foster excellent working relationships with affiliates, staff, and clients
Hire, fire, and conduct performance reviews for staff
Ensure staff training and performance standards are met
Organize workflow and manage risk within the area of responsibility
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
8+ years of banking, financial services, corporate trust administration, or other directly related experience
Managerial experience required
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field required
Advanced knowledge of bonds, escrows, corporate trust administration, regulations of specific trust areas, and auditing procedures
Strong analysis, problem resolution, decision-making, and management skills
Excellent client relationship and communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to manage risk within the area of responsibility
Strong attention to detail and ability to organize workflow
Ability to work with various levels within the organization
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Word and Excel
