The platform currently has teams of experienced professionals operating from offices in Salt Lake City, Houston, Los Angeles, Charlotte, Dallas, Ft. Lauderdale, and Orange County. 

Responsibilities:

ISDA Negotiator will coordinate/track drafting, negotiating, and executing of all ISDA documents, including Master Agreements, Schedules, and Credit Support Annexes (CSA) and new client onboarding. 

  • Work closely with Front Office, Legal, Client Relationship Managers, Credit, Bank clients and or professional counterparties, as needed, in the ISDA document negotiation process.
  • Administer, monitor, and provide comprehensive reporting on the status of all ISDA documents, ensuring complete transparency for the Front Office Sales team
  • Digitally archive and securely store all executed agreements, ensuring they are readily accessible for review upon request
  • Work on various projects, including amending and updating templates, policies, and systems to ensure consistency with business objectives and compliance requirements

Onboarding duties:

  • Greenlight FX and Derivatives clients for trading.  Greenlighting provides a control to ensure that trades are conducted within the Banks trading and credit policies.
  • FO sales may not execute a transaction with a customer until the MO is satisfied that all the documentation required per policy is on file at the appropriate location in the Bank or that a delay has been approved.
  • Monitor documentation status in tracking spreadsheet.
  • Follow-up with RM’s or Marketers regarding documentation upcoming deadlines.
  • Provide exception reporting to management regarding past due documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience in ISDA contracts negotiation supporting Interest Rate and Commodity derivative sales and trading desks.  A combination of education and experience may meet job requirements
  • Specific knowledge of interest rate, commodity, and FX derivatives
  • Experience negotiating with sophisticated counterparties is a plus
  • Effective oral and interpersonal skills a must. Skillful written communication is necessary; the ability to convey thoughts clearly and succinctly and to communicate pertinent complex information in a clear and organized manner.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and decision-making skills
  • Experience with Calypso a plus
