We are currently seeking a Product Analyst as part of our Bankcard and Enterprise Retail Product department.

As a Product Analyst on the Bankcard team, you’ll play a key role in shaping strategy, driving innovation, and delivering insights that power some of the most visible and impactful initiatives across the Bancorp. As a Product analyst, you will play a key role in developing and improving the card products offered by Zions Bancorporation. Come be a part of our high-performing team of card professionals!
The Bankcard Product Analyst will:
- Identify, collect data for, and analyze market products and segments to inform pricing and marketing strategy.
- Provide insights into customer needs and behavior, and portfolio performance measures.
- Prepare documentation about proposed and existing products including specific features, functionality, and requirements.
- Collaborate to support product managers and marketing managers in effectively growing revenue and assisting with business activities
- Create and analyze financial statements and other financial documents or data to proactively provide recommendations to aide management in the decision-making process to optimize Bankcard Product profitability.
- Complete analysis in one or more of the following areas: cost analysis, competitive market analysis, customer penetration, profitability, pricing, valuation, budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling or reconciliation utilizing related analytical tools and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Requires a Bachelor's in Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance or a related field.
- 2-6+ years experience in product, data or financial analysis, data modeling or other directly related experience. A combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.
- Employs expert knowledge as a generalist or specialist of product analysis, metrics development, process improvements and product optimization.
- Advanced knowledge of data analysis practices, principles, and applications.
- Knowledge of bank/financial products strongly preferred.
- Excellent research, problem solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to formulate possible solutions and communicate recommendations.
- Ability to communicate complex analyses clearly and concisely.
- Ability to be self-motivated, work independently and take initiative.
- Ability to manage multiple, ongoing projects and adapt to shifting priorities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across diverse groups.
- Ability to work in a heavily deadline-oriented environment.
- Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task.
- Excellent computer skills (eg. Excel, Business Objects, Power BI, PowerPoint).
The position is located at the Zions Technology Center which is a 400,000-square-foot technology campus in Midvale, Utah. Located on the former Sharon Steel Mill superfund site, the sustainably built campus will be the company’s primary technology and operations center. This modern and environmentally friendly technology center will enable Zions to continue to compete for the best technology talent in the state while providing team members with an exceptional work environment with features such as:
