At Zions Bancorporation we are currently looking for a Bank Card System and Service Analyst. The Bank Card System and Service Analyst plays a key role in collaborating and organizing work the multiple bankcard internal/external systems and processes. We are looking for a strong candidate who has industry knowledge of credit and debit card processing.
Responsibilities:
- Leadership skills, problem solving and ability to review, analyze and evaluate business processes, procedures and user needs.
- Provide data analysis to support, compile, and report key information for operations and business objectives.
- Be responsible to drive processes and improvement initiatives by gathering and documenting business requirements.
- Perform and participate in the analysis, design, and implementation of business processes and procedures following appropriate standards.
- Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for the business and clients.
- Communicate analysis and interpretation to appropriate audience
- Produce, publish, and distribute operational reports relating to the development and
performance of products and processes. - Conduct tests or test planning sessions, provide input for feasibility, and prepare user documentation and follow-up evaluation.
- Act as a liaison with various departments, management and staff to resolve problems and improve processes and procedures.
- Perform project management leadership functions as a project manager or team member.
Qualifications:
- 6+ yrs experience contributing to the strategic creation & building out of products, accelerating value delivery to customers, working with cross-functional teams to realize products, employing innovative mindsets & practices to product development (design-thinking, lean startup approach, MVP, rapid prototyping, frequent feedback cycles, customer centricity)
- Knowledge or familiarity with the following areas and systems will be a plus: Card processing and configuration with Fiserv, Visa or other vendors within the industry.
- Experience in analysis of business process and workflow and/or process improvement recommendations.
- Knowledge or familiarity of network flows and controls.
- Experience in system administration of UNIX/Linux/RHEL and Windows operating systems.
- Working knowledge of business systems and applications, incident and change management, project and systems management.
- Ability to solve problems including multiple priorities and research conflicting and/or inaccurate data.
- Solid interpersonal skills with the ability to work with both management and staff employees.
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business or a related field and 6+ years of managing applications support, technology roadmaps, troubleshooting applications or other directly related experience. A combination of education and experience may meet job requirements.
