Zions is currently seeking a Test Analyst to design, develop and execute test execution plans (automated and manual) across test phases based on test strategy for end-to-end system integration testing using industry accepting testing methodologies and procedures.  This individual will also have the following responsibilities:


  • Responsible for reporting and tracking issues.
  • Ensures proper procedures and controls are in place throughout the testing process.
  • Should be able to identify gaps in a complex functional solution, requirements documentation, challenge the SME’s and ensure gaps are addressed.
  • Works on a cross-functional Agile SCRUM team.
  • Responsible for the test planning, design, and development of appropriate test cases for end-to-end functionality of integrated systems.
  • Validates test results, documents discrepancies, and follows through with resolutions to ensure all issues are resolved.
  • Other duties as assigned.



  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineer, or Information Systems preferred
  • 4+ years of manual testing, test automation, writing test plans and test cases or other directly related work experience.
  • A combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.
  • Extensive knowledge of SDLC, software testing methodologies, testing tools, platforms, related systems and technologies.
  • Experience with XML, JSON, SOAP and REST APIs.
  • Experience working with an Agile team.
  • Understanding of Traceability.
  • Must have strong analytical, organizational, problem resolution, customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience facilitating defect triage sessions.
  • Strong attention to detail.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Familiar with Azure DevOps for reporting and tracking bugs.
  • Passionate about quality, reliability, and process improvement.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with others at all levels of technical understanding.
  • Self-starter, ability to manage own time and priorities, and guide/mentor/lead others.
  • Good communication skills, positive attitude, team player.
