Zions Bank has just opened a position for a Branch Services Specialist based in the heart of Salt Lake City in our offices located at Broadway and Main Street.  

This team of bankers will become an extension of our branches.  In today’s banking environment, our branch partners need a lifeline for certain daily tasks and duties.  You’ll have the opportunity of working directly with clients across the Zions Bank footprint and acting as a liaison with other bank departments to ensure our clients’ needs are met and our clients have a positive experience.  You’ll be working in a fun, creative environment with teammates who are looking to continually improve our methods and bottom line. What are we looking for?

We are seeking a motivated, operationally minded individual with at least two years of banking experience to help us grow our Branch Services Initiative. 

What will your day look like? You will be:

  • Creating solutions and processes to improve overall client experience
  • Assisting branch staff with various client servicing needs
  • Contributing to the bank’s client retention and client experience goals by being a main point of contact for various client needs that arise in our branches
  • Acting as a liaison with fraud, bankcard, and other departments to ensure client’s needs are resolved in a timely manner
  • Resolving client issues that arise in their day-to-day usage of bank products and services
  • Generating referrals to bank partners
  • Providing support to team members as needed
  • Assisting with department projects and tasks as needed

Who should apply?

We want someone who has:

  • A High School diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of experience in branch banking, customer service or other directly related experience. A combination of education and experience may meet job requirements.
  • Working knowledge of banking products & services, customer service, and retention skills.
  • Familiarity with the sales, loan processing and loan closing processes.
  • Great customer service, problem resolution and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Initiative and ability to recognize opportunities.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office software, especially Word and Excel.

You must have a great attitude, be confident and want to inspire others to achieve bank initiatives.
